Where is event parking?

All competitors and spectators should park in the Crowder College parking lot immediately south of the YMCA. We will have people directing traffic to this lot. The YMCA will be open and requests we leave its parking lot available for members and their families.

Where do I register for the USAT one-day membership?

At packet pick-up on Friday evening, we will have the USAT forms available. Each competitor must show photo id, so you cannot have someone register and retrieve your race packet for you. Complete and sign the USAT form and pay the one-day membership fee at that time. Cash or checks will be required; we will not have credit card or debit card capability. Checks should be made payable to USA Triathlon.

Do I need to be an Ironman® to compete in this event?

Absolutely not. This sprint distance race is great for those just wondering about multisport events and for those experienced triathletes who are wanting to test out their winter training. For those competitive-types, the USAT sanctioning allows your race results to be included in national ranking calculations. For most others, these races are a personal challenge to push oneself to train and endure. Any swim stroke is allowed – just don’t walk along the bottom; ride as fast as you desire; walk part of the run course if needed. You are competing against yourself. Our volunteers and spectators will be there to encourage you along every step of the way!

Can I change my swim time estimate?

Yes.  Before the start of the race, we will have everyone line up voluntarily by their estimated swim time.  So, if your estimate has changed from when you registered, don’t worry!
